Recruit 12 has an exciting opportunity for a few Embedded Software Engineers (all levels) with a business which is focusing heavily on propulsion of various types of mobility and machinery.
You’ll be focusing on embedded software for high performance applications and is based in a modern facility, offering a fast-paced and challenging environment to make big steps forward in the field of advanced engineering.
You’ll be working on projects within enables conventional, hybrid and electric propulsion systems.
Role And Responsibilities
- Be involved in embedded software development
- Analysis, design, development and testing activities
- Work alongside the electronics/hardware teams to ensure those areas can support the software
- Be involved with processes and methodologies to improve methods within the team
- Develop code using embedded C and MATLAB/Simulink
- Take part in issue, change and configuration management
- Mentor and train more junior members of staff
Required Skills
- Embedded C experience (not auto coding)
- Full lifecycle software engineering experience
- Safety Critical projects (automotive, aerospace, defence, medical, etc)
- Real-time embedded software development
- Good knowledge of communication protocols
Desirable (not Essential)
- AUTOSAR experience
- Experience with MIL/SIL/PIL (such as Simulink, VectorCast, Polyspace, etc.)
- Experience with things like ASPICE / ISO26262
- Experience with medium/high voltage inverters
- Degree in a relevant engineering discipline
