As an Asset development manager, you will be managed a portfolio of assets and essential in making sure that these assets fit the needs of NEOM food company, are managed accordingly to the right procedures and processes, and are finished on time and within budget in line with NEOM Quality Standards. This is a demanding and rewarding position that calls for a strong project management and leaderships skills in addition to communication abilities and should be strategically minded with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. This position is ideal for you if you are passionate about developing agricultural and aquaculture food production assets and have a vast experience of completing successful initiatives in this discipline.
Responsibilities
- Represent the proponent (NEOM Food Company) in the planning, design, and construction of food production assets, such as greenhouses, fish farms and hatchery, processing plants, and other food production related facilities.
- Work closely with other professionals, such as agricultural specialists, engineers, project management consulting companies, contractors, and government agencies to ensure that projects meet with the client's requirements, adhere to Saudi and international building codes and regulations, and are completed to the highest sustainable and environmental standards.
- Timely monitor and report the progress of assets and identify and resolve any issues that arise.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders of the assets, including suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure that all assets complies with NEOM health, safety and environmental regulations, and that all risks are identified and managed appropriately.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for food production asset development and ensure that they are adhered to by all members of the team.
- Manage a range of external third-party suppliers to ensure compliance with high operational standards of design and construction.
Qualifications, Skills, And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in construction, or a related field.
- Experienced Construction / Project Management professional with 10+ years’ experience
- Candidates coming from a M&E background would be desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of International and Saudi building codes and regulations, and experience working with government agencies.
- In depth understanding of commercial and contractual aspects associate with the projects.
- Understanding of quality and standard of civil, architectural and electromechanical related construction materials.
- Understanding of Project Planning and work breakdown structures.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to recognise and address difficulties that develop throughout the project lifecycle.
- Candidates who can demonstrate a working knowledge & good understanding of the RIBA Stage Gates processes & procedures would be further desired.
- Proven team-player with a minimum of 10 years’ experience contributing to multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience of working within a multicultural environment is a must.
