Our client designs, supplys and installs roof mount solar and due to continuous growth, they are looking for a Operations Director to join their team. About the Role-Lead and develop the Operations Department reporting directly to the Board. Responsible for the design and build of all EPC projects across the UK to highest quality and health & safety standards. Responsible for delivering all O&M contracts. Own Health & Safety across the company. Help to develop new policies and processes to continually improve employee satisfaction and companies’ performance. Build on existing supplier relationships and establish new relationships. Help to develop the company’s knowledge, skills and offering in new products and technologies. About YouTeam management - people development, skills analysis and team building. Electrical ExperienceCommercial Electrician / Electrical EngineeringFinancial / Budget managementContracts management / Sub-contractor managementKnowledge of Solar PV and wider renewables industryWorking knowledge of CDM and other appropriate Health and Safety regulationsGood working knowledge of MS Office suite of products. Previous experience in a similar Operational Director / Head of OperationsDBS Clearance - ability to work in vulnerable environments. Driving LicenceHold a full UK driving licence with no disqualifications and no more than 6 penalty points. TravelMust be willing to travel across the UK to meet with customers, partners and to visit sites. Whats in it for you £75-85k annual salary £500pcm Car allowance, then company car on successful completion of probationary period.
