Our technology focuses on green energy and contributes to the creation of a better future. Purpose of the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Data Scientist to join our Test Strategy team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming design verification requirements into actionable test plans, analyzing test data, and reporting results. Your expertise will be crucial in advising on experimental design, statistical confidence, and utilizing machine learning to optimize verification processes and improve the Test Department's operations and output. Key Accountabilities:Translate design verification and product validation requirements into executable test plansApply advanced statistical methods, including design of experiments and hypothesis testing, to optimize test plan designUtilize advanced data analysis and machine learning techniques to process test data and derive statistically sound test resultsProvide guidance to the design verification and product validation processes, implementing best statistical practices and continuous improvement of test measurement data qualityCollaborate with the Data Analysis team to develop and maintain software tools and databases for test data analysisEffectively communicate test plans and results to project teams through presentations and reportsSupport the development of a business-wide cloud data management platformDevelop and deploy data visualization tools (dashboards, apps) to ensure teams throughout the organization have access to necessary information Knowledge and Skills Required:Several years of experience applying statistical methods in a product development and test environmentBSc or MSc in a quantitative field, such as statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or an Engineering disciplineProficiency in machine learning techniques and toolsQualification or demonstrable knowledge in Six Sigma statistical techniquesExperience integrating different tools/applications to deliver combined capabilitiesFamiliarity with Agile software development methodologiesExcellent written and oral communication skillsIdeally familiar with Python and R programming languagesKnowledge of methods to quantify and express measurement uncertaintyExperience with some of the following: MATLAB, Microsoft Azure, Databricks, and Power BI would be advantageousExperience in a relevant sector, such as electrochemical products, power generation, or automotive You will be working with a leading developer of clean energy technology who care deeply about our purpose, our people, our customers, and our planet.
