Due to a period of growth our client is currently recruiting a Maintenance Technician for their site in Buckie.

Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader you will regularly review Maintenance Plan with Team Leader to ensure compliance with inspection & testing regime for site.

Accountabilities

Ensure Inspection and Testing regime is completed as per Maintenance Plan.

Ensure that all maintenance operations on sites are maintained to the highest level of safety and environmental standards on a day to day basis

Ensure completion of all relevant operational logs, and maintenance requests and reports as per requirements.

Ensure continuous process development and completion of improvement initiatives.

Under the guidance of the Team Leader and Maintenance Planner - as per the stock control plan ensure that appropriate level of spare parts are in stock

Working with Team Leader and Process Support Leader to implement improvements to process and equipment on site.

Qualifications & Experience

HNC in Engineering Practice/Mechanical Engineering (Minimum)

Modern Apprenticeship completed

NVQ level 3 – Mechanical ECITB (or similar).

Candidates must be time served and have experience of industrial mechanical control systems.

Experience in pumps and compressors

Duties will include carrying out maintenance routines, first line troubleshooting, project installations,

equipment refurbishments and calibrations.

You must be reliable with excellent communication skills and may be required to work over-time (paid) and/or potentially be called out in the event of plant breakdown.

Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems such as Agility or Maximo would be advantageous.
