The Role

Remote working Excellent opportunity for someone coming from a land or planning background looking to step into the Renewable Energy sector where you will be involved in originating new land opportunities on existing renewable energy projects. While part of a wider group, this company are one of Ireland's leading renewable energy companies that specialise in developing, constructing and operating energy projects to ensure for a more sustainable future. They are looking to support continued growth by bringing in a land manager to cover onshore wind, solar, hydrogen and energy storage in the Scotland area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to get into the Renewable Energy sector for a company that will invest in your career offering clear progression routes and development through training. The ideal candidate will be someone coming from a land and planning background with knowledge of different types of land agreements. While it is not essential it would be highly advantageous if the candidate had renewable energy experience in a similar role.

Developing new land opportunities for renewable energy projects

Managing the land acquisition/securing process to budget and time required for the project.

Maintaining relations with landowners, tenants, farmers and land agents.

Securing planning consents for a range of proposed wind farms, solar farms and other energy projects. The Person:

Previous experience in a similar role such as planning, land management or public government.

Strong knowledge and understanding of different type of land agreements

Strong knowledge of GIS and project management software
