We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual to join the team as a Maintenance Technician. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will:
Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM), preventative maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance (CM) and emergency breakdown maintenance on;
- Injection moulding machines (Engel, Netstal, Husky)
- Assembly machines (IMD Vista, Telerobot)
- Automated packing systems (Trio Technik)
- Building Plant Equipment such as compressors, blowers, air handling units, pumps, chillers/coolers.
- Resin delivery systems (silos, pipe runs, pneumatic valves, colour units (MovaColor) and filters.
You will also train, support and be a role model to other maintenance colleagues.
Add options to production equipment in order to enhance capability.
Working hours: Shift Work
About you:
- Multi-skilled engineer with 5 + years of experience and ideally NVQ Level 3 – Electrical engineer.
- Experience of injection moulding processes, ideally 2/3 years.
- Good understanding of schematics e.g. electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic.
- An autonomous approach to fault finding and problem solving.
- Ability to navigate CMMS (computer maintenance management system)
- Ability to work with limited supervision is needed.
