Kinetic Recruitment are actively resourcing on behalf of a global manufacturing company for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a team of Maintenance Engineers and to ensure the plant and machinery across the site are available and reliable. The successful candidate will need to assist in the reduction of plant downtime, continuous improvement initiatives, health and safety and project work.

Principal accountabilities shall include;

To carry out planned maintenance to the required standard.

To carry out reactive maintenance when required

To be able to coordinate and cooperate with production supervision on a day to day basis, to ensure the smooth running and availability of plant and equipment

Continuous promotion of best H&S practise

To proactively help reduce function accident statistics

This position will be on either a 2 shift or a 3 shift pattern.

Candidates must have worked in similar positions within heavy engineering/manufacturing.

Electrical bias preferred.

PLC experience would be an advantage.
