Financial Controls & Statutory Accounting Analysts who have extensive Real Estate Development experience for The LINE.
Role purpose:
You will provide valuable support to the Project Accounting and FP&A team to complete the Annual Budget and monthly reporting to stakeholders. In order to thrive in this role you must have extensive Real Estate Development experience for this role.
Role Responsibilities:
- Prepares statutory accounts (incl. consolidation, elimination, GL, Trial Balance entries) for compliance with NEOM Finance policies, procedures, and accounting practices; as well as global best practices and global accounting standards (IFRS)
- Adheres to the financial structure and system workflow incl. Work Breakdown Structures for project capex items, Internal Order numbers, and PRs/POs related to the Procure to Pay process
- Preparation of THE LINE’s annual financial report, statutory accounts and other regular reports for internal control, stakeholder reporting, financing compliance and managerial purposes
- Makes recommendations to senior management on areas of responsibility, including accounting practices, internal controls and reporting of financial results, treasury management and financial operations
- Prepares analysis for external advisors and internal & external auditors in relation to any audit matters
- Fosters and encourages a culture of collaboration, risk management and adherence to NEOM Policies, Procedures and Controls
- Preparation and analysis of reconciliation for share capital among various entities within THE LINE
- Preparation and analysis of Intercompany balances and transactions, incl. transfer pricing of services
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
- 5 years or more of experience in a real estate development or operations management, corporate audit, audit consulting background
- Highly skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data;
- Highly skilled in use of various Real Estate software programs (Estate Master, Yardi, JD Edwards) and ERP systems (SAP) and MS Excel/PowerPoint/Word;
- Excellent verbal skills;
- Team player and ability to oversee team players;
- Excellent work habits, including a willingness to work the hours necessary to completed the required tasks;
- Excellent time management with an agile approach for changing priorities
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce or Business Administration;
- Recognized chartered accountancy qualification e.g., CPA, CA, ACA
