Job Title - Product Manager (Data Services)
Location - West London - Hybrid - 3 days in office
Salary - 50,000 - 60,000 per annum + bonus + benefits.
The Company
We are working with an incredibly exciting company with a global presence in over 26 countries. They are leaders in their space and have 2 core focus, the first being a global event company managing huge events within the sports, entertainment, and fashion space. The other focus being a global Talent Management business where they represent a wealth of A-List celebrity talent from musicians, Actors/Actresses,, Sporting personalities, models, and so on.
As a business they have around 15 different sub-brands across the group one of which is the business we are working with that is focused on being the internal data arm for the entire group. This means everything from Data Engineering, Data Science, AI, and Analytics, is all managed within this environment for the global business.
The role
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager who has either come from a Data environment or has a keen interest to be involved in data-related products to join the team. You will be working with an incredible team of Data Engineers, Analysts, and Scientists across some exciting Greenfield projects.
The data sets in this business are also very vast from Live streaming data from social, Music, and entertainment platforms such as Twitter, Netflix, Spotify etc, to behavioral science analytics, API ingestions, and many others.
This role will be stakeholder-facing and see you working closely with the business to understand the requirements, make suggestions on the direction of the various products, manage the end-to-end product roadmap, and in general manage between 2-5 products at one time depending on the size and complexity.
Required Skills And Experience
A proven track record of success within a Product Management position ideally within data environments but we can also consider software background as long as there is a keen interest on data related products
- Strong stakeholder management experience, being able to understand business requirements and translate them into fully fledged product roadmaps, user stories, epics, etc
- Strong experience working closely with Engineers, and being able to translate business requirements into technical requirements
- Experience working with agile environments (Scrum / Kanban
- An outcome and delivery-focused mindset focused on producing high quality outcomes each and every time
