Full time (45 hours) | site location (60% Manningtree, 40% client hospital sites)

Our purpose-designed and built mobile and modular facilities provide our clients with new or replacement healthcare spaces including operating theatres, endoscopy suites and sterilisation and diagnostic departments. As part of our solution to our clients we also support them with clinical teams and equipment for our facilities.
We are looking for a Maintenance and Installation Technician to join our Operations Team, based at Manningtree, Essex.
Responsibilities for the Maintenance and Installation Technician role:
- Planned maintenance works on units at our Manningtree yard to prepare them to go back on contract
- Infrequently undertaking reactive maintenance for units that require repairs on hospital sites
- Working as part of a team under the Project Manager, supporting with the delivery and installation of our units on hospital sites
- Working as part of a team under the Project Manager, supporting the decommissioning and transportation of out units back to the maintenance yard
- Supporting specialist contractors with works on units in the maintenance yard or units out on hospital sites
- To occasionally undertake the role of escort driver, to assist in the safe delivery of mobile units to the client hospital site
- To support the Maintenance Manager with any other tasks as appropriate

Requirements for the Maintenance and Installation Technician role:
- An experienced tradesperson in a discipline such as fabrication, coachworks, plumbing, electrical, building or construction
- Experience in engineering, construction, or any other technical and practical based industry
- Ability to undertake various maintenance tasks in a workshop environment, as well as out on site
- Technical problem-solving skills and ability to improvise and adapt
- Driving license and willingness to travel.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to establish and build professional relationships quickly
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
- Ability to manage own workload and prioritise activity accordingly
- Microsoft Office skills to include MSExcel, MSWord
