You will work on some of the most innovative decarbonisation projects that have been proposed in the UK, whilst contributing towards the country’s net zero emission goals. We offer regular contact time with senior management, as well as significant autonomy and authority to lead workstreams and own relationships with all stakeholders in the business.
The Role:
We are looking for a highly capable and enthusiastic individual to join us and support the company during a period of rapid growth and be part of our compelling development.
They will be able to experience the excitement of a start-up business which is growing and constantly innovating, with leaders in the field of hydrogen everywhere they look. The role will report into the COO but will work closely with the wider Protium team.
This is an extremely varied role and a great opportunity for someone looking to get exposure to different parts of a business. The ideal candidate will be keen to get stuck into lots of different activities, is able to condense information into advice and propose their preferred solution.
Key activities include:
- Supporting the COO with research on European policy and regulation landscape with respect to hydrogen and renewables
- Researching companies and their capabilities
- Aggregating and managing the COO’s engagement, attending meetings with the COO and potentially leading engagements themselves
- Supporting COO with back-office management
- Preparing position and strategy papers, PowerPoints
Required Experience:
Protium values candidates who are self-starters, willing to learn quickly and can contribute to part of an exciting company in a rapidly expanding industry. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced and challenging environment, as well as confident to put their ideas forward and challenge if required.
The successful candidate will have:
- Fluent in German or Dutch - Must have
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with stakeholders across all levels;
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office suite, notably Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
