Looking for a Hydrogen Analysis Manager to join a FTSE 100 registered energy provider who have committed multi billions of GBP in low carbon projects in the upcoming years.
Must have experience in the economic and commercial modelling of the energy commodity markets or comparable sectors as the role will sit within a wider energy team that provides independent advice on analysis to internal business units.
You will play a critical role in supporting the ambition of the business units as they optimise and expand the businesses both in the UK and internationally.
Responsibilities include,
Conducting research and modelling future Hydrogen Supply, Demand and Cost,
Co-operating with other teams in energy economics to develop pricing models to produce a long-term view of UK and international Hydrogen
Co-operate with other Business to propose a Group perspective for Hydrogen investment strategy across Codes, Levies and Networks for the evolving market.
Communicating the results of economic analysis to a range of stakeholders across SSE, up to and including Board level, through discussions, papers, and presentations.

Degree-level qualification in a relevant subject such as economics, maths, science, engineering, or other numerate discipline.
Ability to influence at all levels of the organisation, demonstrate effective stakeholder management and leadership of internal/external groups.
An enthusiasm for Research and demonstrable modelling experience with the ability to disseminate this into actions and communicate findings in a clear and concise manner.
Relevant experience of Economic and Commercial modelling of the energy commodity markets or comparable sectors, strong Excel skills ability are required.
Knowledge of Electricity Market Economics and Policy Mechanisms.
