You will be working for TFS, part of the Compliance Group, which is currently engaged in a dynamic acquisitions programme that will enable the Fire Division operating companies to deliver fantastic customer service and offer great opportunities for personal progression and development.
What do you expect from our Fire Project Engineer?
We seek a Fire Project Engineer/ Fire Protection Project Engineer within the fire and Security industry to manage and coordinate the delivery of Fire and Security projects to their conclusion.
- Minimum of 5 years in a similar role
- A field-based role is responsible for the technical surveying and risk assessment of client premises to deliver a technical specification.
- Ensure the agreed service requirements and cost matrix are delivered in an agreed format with a safe working focus and take the lead on the delivery of larger installation and remedial works where required.
- Produce accurate drawings and specifications to install various multi-disciplined fire systems in compliance with relevant British Standards.
- Ensure that any management information is provided promptly accurately and professionally presented.
- Ensure full understanding of any changes and developments in legislation and working practices that may affect the company’s operations and/or present new opportunities.
- Ensure that the team / sub-contractors are appropriately resourced, informed, motivated, and trained to meet company objectives most efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure the budget is adhered to and all expenditure levels are within the set project targets.
- Ensure high standards are maintained regarding technical compliance to standards, health and safety and pay particular attention to statutory compliance across all building services in buildings/services provided.
- Excellent verbal and written skills, people skills, and ability to manage projects and people.
