Job Title: Maintenance Technician Location: Wellingborough
Responsibilities
Supporting the performance and efficiency of the site through engineering practice.
Working as part of a multi-skilled team.
Working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, including both days and nights.
Providing out-of-hours cover on a rotational basis.
Ensuring consistent work in line with best practices and safety procedures.
Participating in the development and improvement of procedures and systems.
Maintaining documentation accurately.
Managing contractors and associated paperwork.
Qualifications And Skills Required
ONC/HNC or equivalent recognized apprenticeship in electrical and/or mechanical engineering.
Working knowledge of pneumatics.
Experience in a similar maintenance role.
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
Flexibility and adaptability.
Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
Effective communication skills at all levels.
Attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Good IT skills, including Word and Excel.

Qualifications And Experience
Completion of an Engineering apprenticeship is preferred but not mandatory.
Shift Pattern
The shift pattern is 4 On 4 Off.
Shifts are 12 hours long, alternating between 06:00 to 18:00 and vice versa.
Salary And Benefits
Starting pay is approximately £44.5K.
After the 3-month probationary period, there is an uplift payment.
There will be 3 x 6-month reviews, each with an uplift payment based on performance.
If all reviews are successful, the final salary after 21 months would be approximately £49.5K.
