Position:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our experienced and successful team at Bridgwater Ford, we’re looking for someone who has a passion to succeed and is driven by results. The ideal candidate will be experienced in automotive diagnostic and repair, have a NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification within the automotive or engineering sector, and have previous experience in a vehicle workshop. An MOT qualification would be advantageous, but not essential as training will be provided for the right candidate.
As a Vehicle Technician at Foray Motor Group, your role will cover a wide variety of duties and responsibilities, these range from manufacturer routine maintenance and service checks through to fault finding and diagnostics. You will be responsible for producing reports on vehicle health and condition utilising an electronic health check system following the manufacturer guidelines, and be able to clearly communicate technical issues to customers though video production and face to face interaction. Testing vehicle components and operating systems to confirm faults and create reports/estimates on recommended repairs. This role requires focus on attention to detail, with the successful candidate being able to demonstrate a methodical approach to fault finding and vehicle repairs whilst maintaining high standards of workmanship with a right first-time attitude. You will be required to perform work efficiently and safely in line with our dealership standards and have the ability to adhere to clear and defined workshop procedures, whilst being able to adapt to changing guidelines to maximise team and individual performance.
The successful applicant will be provided with Manufacturer and in-house training to develop their skills and knowledge, with clear training pathways delivered directly from the Manufacturer’s state of the art training hub.

Hours: Monday – Friday 8.00am – 5.30pm Saturdays on a rota basis
Salary: From £28,000.00 - Negotiable depending on experience.
OTE - £35 – 45k depending on skills and performance.
