Bladon has an exciting opportunity for a Performance Engineer to join our Powerplant Team. As a This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate looking for their first career role.
As the Performance Engineer you will complete data analysis and performance analysis for the Engineering function to aid the success of the business. Working with cross functional departments related to performance attributes ensuring efficiency and power requirements are adhered to.
You will be based in our new purpose-built manufacturing and development facility, conveniently located in the West Midlands with great transport links, where we develop and manufacture green energy solutions for our international customer base.

Key Responsibilities
• Work cross functionally with other teams and support the development of system performance models and control system logic
• Support the assessment and optimisation of product performance on both high system and subsystem level
• Support the definition of verification and validation test plans as well as the pass / fail criteria
• Support testing activities, ensuring the test data is adequate for the purpose of the test
• Process and analyse test data and report in a clear and concise manner
What we’re looking for:
• Degree or equivalent in an Engineering discipline
• Knowledge of Gas Turbine cycles, architectures and operation.
• Experience in Scripting in MATLAB/Simulink and or Python
• Experience in data processing and analysis
