What You'll be Doing
As a Microsoft Sales Specialist, you will be the torchbearer for driving sales and amplifying reach into the private sector. Your expertise in Microsoft products and services will be pivotal in not just winning new logo clients, but also in fortifying and expanding an existing customer base and building enduring partnerships.
Key Responsibilities will include:
New Client Outreach: Utilise your IT sales experience to identify and onboard new clients, centred around Microsoft's offerings.
Upselling and Cross-Selling: Interface with internal colleagues to identify avenues for expanding client engagement and value delivery.
Vendor Relationships: Strengthen bonds with Microsoft channel partners, enhancing the value proposition for clients.
Marketing Collaboration: Integrate with marketing initiatives, anchoring efforts to foster lead generation and augment client engagement.
What You'll Need
This role presents a unique opportunity to champion our client's unrivalled technical expertise in the private sector. To succeed, you'll need to be able to demonstrate:
Technical Proficiency: A deep understanding of IT solutions, especially with a focus on Microsoft's product suite. Familiarity with cloud technologies, enterprise solutions, and the broader Microsoft ecosystem will be pivotal.
Sales Track Record: Proven experience and demonstrable success in IT sales, particularly in identifying, nurturing, and converting leads into clients. This includes cold outreach, presentation skills, and negotiation capabilities, with the ability to tailor your approach for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Consistent Target Achievement: A proven history of not only meeting or exceeding sales targets but also the ability to provide tangible evidence of your accomplishments.
You'll also need:- GCSE in Maths and English.
- Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Sales Specialist or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate, demonstrating an understanding of the Microsoft product portfolio.
- A solid understanding of the Microsoft Cloud Portfolio, including solutions such as M365 (SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, Microsoft UC).
The Package
Taking on a new role is always a big step and in order to attract only the most talented and driven sales professionals, the generous remuneration package includes a 6-month guaranteed commission plan to give you the breathing space to establish a robust sales pipeline.
- Basic Salary between £35k to £45k + uncapped commission
- £6k Car Allowance
- Commission Guarantee - £1500 per month for first 3 months, then £1000 per month for months 4 to 6.
- 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays rising to 29 + Birthday off each year
- £100 per month cost of living allowance
- Circa £50pm fuel contribution based on travel to work mileage
