Mechanical Project Engineer for a 12 month contract based in Edinburgh. Candidates will be required to travel to client offices and sites along with other Arup offices as part of the role.

Job Description - The Role
Due to an increasing workload in the growing hydrogen energy sector, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer to work on H100, the world's first hydrogen gas to homes heating project.
We are looking for candidates with demonstrable qualities of curiosity, personal drive and strong technical / engineering skills.
Candidate Profile: Key Accountabilities;
- Plant development
- Interaction with contractors on site
- Managing elements of design interface through to construction and enabling commissioning
Essential Skills And Qualifications
- Chartered Engineer status
- Experience managing Safety, competence and workmanship on site where required and ensuring design compliance
- Comfortable with involvement in FAT/SAT etc.
- Capable of working with limited supervision.
Desirable Skills And Experience
- Process engineering experience
