The Quality Assurance aspect of this role will involve attending Medical Education Committee Meetings and feeding back information to our Clinical Education Leadership Team on areas within the GMC and NETS survey which require improvement. The role also consists of complex data analysis and reporting building and writing.
A key part of the role is to coordinate and support new exciting projects relating to PGME This will involve collaborative working with a number of internal and external stakeholders on projects with the aim of improving the training experience of doctors working at MFT. The role will also consist of maintaining a central database to track past, present and future projects.
This is a exciting development role for someone looking to experience working with internal and external stakeholders across all areas of MFT, GMC and NHSE as well as and various levels of management, both clinical and administrative.

Main Purpose Of Job
As a University Teaching Hospital, it is essential that we provide an environment which supports the learning and development of trainee doctors. This post is key to ensuring a cohesive approach to Quality Assurance across Medical Education, working within the existing reporting mechanisms of the Trust. This will involve liaising and negotiating with Trust staff and doctors in training, acquiring information and documentation and maintaining a central information function. The postholder will have responsibility for the organisation of evaluations and preparation of reports for accreditation purposes by designing, constructing and maintaining educational databases and analysing information to produce reports. You will work effectively as a member of the team, but also autonomously when required.
