You will be working for an energetic and lively scale up business which prides itself on an aggressive growth strategy and a highly valuable unique SaaS product. You will be joining in a stage of rapid development pre Series A funding. The time has never been more exciting to advance with a fun team where the opportunity for progression is significant as a business development representative (BDR).
Your New Role
You will be responsible for all outbound B2B lines of enquiry as you grow the sales avenues alongside the business development team reporting directly to the main business development manager. As business development representative (BDR), you will be selling the business’ key SaaS product to prospects around the UK. The opportunity will involve hunting for new business across utilities, CPOs (charge point operators) and property management companies to unleash the new capabilities offered by this unique piece of software asking the question ‘could you put a charger there?’ and more specifically ‘should you put a charger there?’. You will qualify between 8-10 leads every month for the wider business success.
Your Background
You will have at least 1 year’s previous experience in selling software as a service (SaaS) to growth markets. You will be a proactive, independent salesperson with a confident manner on the phones who likes to open the right doors and be an enabler for the rest of the team to close substantial business. You will be keen to grow and develop within the company and be an active participator with ambitious plans for your future in the business as business development representative (BDR).
In Return
You will receive 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and you will earn between £70-100 on every lead qualified correctly on top of a basic salary of £30-35k per annum, dependant on experience as a business development representative (BDR). You will also have employer contributions to your pension.
