As EO Charging continues to expand across the UK and Europe, our customers trust us to support their entire EV Charging infrastructure, ensuring that every charger remains operational 24/7, 365 days a year. We are currently searching for an ambitious Service Manager to oversee the smooth operation of our customer-facing systems, connected charge base, and deliver support that exceeds our customers' expectations. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with our talented engineers, service teams, and OEMs, supporting some of the world's largest fleet operators like Amazon, GoAhead, and DHL.
**The Role:**
The Service Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of customer contracts in the UK and when necessary, in Europe. The position involves effective management of the Service Coordinator and close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including construction and Technical Operation Centre stakeholders, to facilitate a seamless transition from construction to warranty and aftersales support.
**As the Service Manager, your responsibilities will include:**
- Overseeing the onboarding of service contracts, including internal or external needs like engineer training, and managing contractual requirements in alignment with each customer's agreements.
- Attending critical customer meetings when necessary and organizing parts, engineers, or paperwork for sites or customers.
- Creating processes and procedures to enhance efficiencies within the department.
- Assisting in customer quotes for software and O&M service contracts.
**About You:**
We are seeking a candidate with strong organizational skills and previous experience in planning service work for hardware products, preferably within facilities management, involving both internal and external engineers. A solid understanding of contracts and efficient process management is essential. While a strong technical background is valuable, it's not mandatory, as we provide training. More importantly, we are looking for someone with a proactive and commercial mindset, continually seeking ways to enhance processes and deliver exceptional customer service.
