About the Role
Due to growth in our Integrated Security Systems business, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Project Engineer in our Fire & Security Systems division, focusing on Installation in the North West area the position holder will be responsible for successfully installing high end fire alarm and integrated security systems, whilst maintaining tight cost controls.
What you will be doing
Management of electronic security projects.
Undertake commissioning of systems when required.
To verify the detailed accuracy of equipment specifications at the “pre-installation” stage.
To develop and manage site specific method statements and risk assessments where necessary and ensure that Health and Safety requirements are upheld
To supervise sub-contractors effectively.
To ensure that systems are properly tested and commissioned and assist in the production of O&M documentation.
Experience in the installation and commissioning of security systems preferred.
Intermediate IT skills including familiarity with networks.
Experience of IP CCTV/Access Control/Intruder Alarm Systems
Management of electrical contractors and company approved subcontractors.
Experience in the installation of network based security systems.
Knowledge of relevant British Standards for Installation.
Current driving licence
