As a Wind Turbine Technician in the England Central team based in our Goole Service Centre near Rusholme Wind Farm (DN14 6XL), every day is different and provides a real opportunity to make a difference in our ambition to help the UK achieve Net Zero.
You’ll work across multiple assets (Senvion, Vestas and Nordex MW technology platforms) to deliver scheduled and unscheduled maintenance services to our onshore wind turbine projects.

What You’ll Be Doing Day To Day…
- Scheduled and reactive maintenance accordance with manufacturer’s guideline
- Report and plan daily maintenance activity
- Coordinate local spare part and consumable stock
- Fault-finding, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair on all turbine systems, which will include mechanical, electrical and hydraulic assemblies and major components
- Proactive repair or component replacement to prevent complete failure or system downtime
- Supervise specialist and subcontractor activity during main component exchange
- Provide safety induction to contractors and visitors
- Provide out of hours and weekend response to turbine breakdown
- Ensure the highest level of turbine availability
What’s my role and where will I fit in?
You’ll be a time served Engineer (electrical/mechanical) with a primary focus on ensuring operations and maintenance activities are undertaken to the highest levels you’ll ideally hold a AT/AE qualification under Wind Turbine Safety Rules (WTSR) and have significant technical expertise gained through a blend of academic (Electrical or Mechanical HNC/HND/NVQ) and “hands on” operational environments.
For this role you will be based at Goole Service Centre but there is a requirement to travel to various other wind farms when necessary.
