The Temporary Works Lead is responsible for managing and supporting a team of engineers, technicians, and sub-consultants to control and enforce temporary works assurance protocols across The Line.
Responsibilities:
- Lead temporary works management lead in ensuring that temporary works comply with the Temporary works Assurance Plan, the Temporary Works site-wide Strategy, Neom SOPs and relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations;
- Collaborate with engineers and designers (as assigned by Contractors, as appointed Consultants and within the DP team) to develop safe and effective temporary works systems and procedures;
- Assist in the development and improvement of Temporary Works Assurance principals and strategy;
- In collaboration with The Line Health and Safety team, conduct and review risk assessments for temporary works, identifying potential hazards and ensuring timely implementation of mitigation measures;
- Assist in the development and management of budgets for temporary works, optimizing costs while maintaining safety and quality standards;
- Assist in the planning of installation and removal of temporary works to align with the construction schedule;
- Maintain detailed records and documentation related to temporary works, including design calculations, inspections and approvals;
- Assist in the implementation and enforcement of safety protocols and procedures for temporary works, conducting safety inspections and addressing any issues promptly
- Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of temporary works with the overall construction plan;
- Identify and address any issues or challenges related to temporary works promptly and effectively through the Project Risk Management process
