Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development and execution of laboratory and field experiments to test and refine Green Rhino's pollution prevention technologies.
- Analyse and interpret experimental data using robust scientific methods and statistical tools.
- Contribute to technical reports, documentation and presentations, effectively communicating complex information to diverse audiences.
- Collaborate closely with other engineers, scientists and technicians to ensure project success and knowledge transfer.
- Stay up-to-date on current research and technological advancements in relevant fields.
- Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and propose innovative solutions to pollution prevention challenges.
- Maintain a safe and organised work environment.
Qualifications
- BSc or MSc degree in a relevant science, maths or engineering discipline (e.g. environmental science, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, data science).
- Strong understanding of the scientific method, including hypothesis formulation, experiment design, data analysis and results interpretation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Proficiency in data analysis software, such as Excel, R or Python.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn.
- Team player with a demonstrated track record of successful collaboration.
