You will bring in-depth and hands-on experience developing innovative image and signal processing algorithms integrated into systems that deliver effective real-life solutions.
TTP is growing a central software capability, to accommodate the expanding demand for innovative software solutions that make a real difference to people's lives and grow business across a wide range of application areas. Our work is diverse - covering everything from connected medical implants & desktop biology; bespoke protocols for safety-critical applications; next generation satellite communications; low-latency industrial automation & imaging; and large scale IoT systems. Requirements
Your application will stand out if you have a track record of:
- Investigating and understanding the problem domain alongside steering the requirements with the client and the team;
- Planning the programme of research, feasibility, proof of concept, development, testing and delivery - including data acquisition and dataset labelling & management;
- Inventing and developing algorithms through practical experimental analysis, research discovery and implementation of creative solutions that are refined through objective evaluation tests;
- Utilising signal / image / numerical / statistical analysis, AI/ML, and visualisation libraries such as OpenCV, NumPy, SciPy, Scikit-learn, MATLAB, TensorFlow, Matplotlib;
- Systems integration of algorithms, ported from workstation to target platform implementations and architected for robust behaviour and performance.
- Software and systems development skills, extending to multiple languages (e.g. Python, C, C++) and embedded systems (embedded Linux, bare metal)
- Broader algorithm & analysis interests and capabilities, such as scientific computing, data science, robotics and automation
