The Role We are looking for an enthusiastic experienced software support developer / analyst to join our customer support team and take responsibility for the level 2 support queue. The successful candidate will have a natural enquiring mind and thrive on solving problems using a logical, investigative approach. The role will involve working with sensitive data that will require SC security clearance, that is not required to apply for the role, but the candidate must know of no blockers to gaining clearance and be willing to follow the process. Your Profile If you are interested in joining our team, you should have:

  • BSc (min 2.1) in Computer Science or similar technical discipline.
  • Proven problem solving skills with the ability to work in an accurate and logical manner to research and solve issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability and confidence to liaise with users at all levels including senior management.
  • Ability to understand software from both a technical and user point of view.
  • Ability to quickly assimilate information.
  • Ability to juggle several priorities at once.
  • Experience in developing, deploying and managing systems within Azure
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Docker or Kubernetes would be desirable but is not essential Your security clearance To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.

To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.

Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
