As a part of Mer you will be working with enthusiastic, skilled and ambitious people who care about future generations. We are looking for a National Account Manager to accelerate the customer relationships we have forged, and to assist with the development of new customers. Serving as the liaison between Mer and our customers, ensuring outstanding customer service and client satisfaction.

The position is field based reporting into the Head of Account Management with expectation that you will work at one of our offices (Consett, County Durham or Bishopsgate, London) at least one day a week.
Salary is competitive and will be negotiable depending on experience.
Charging is core to the drive towards electrification of vehicles in the UK. This role will help unlock charging solutions for commercial and HGV fleets across the private and public sectors.
Key activities will amongst others be:
- Full accountability for an annual growth revenue target, to be achieved through managing a portfolio of existing customers
- Developing bespoke account plans and proposals
- Communicating to clients clearly addressing concerns and resolving any issues that arise
- Managing client relationships taking a strategic lead
- Negotiating and closing further deals to existing and new clients that are onboarded
- Delivering the sales proposition to multiple key stakeholders
- Preparing and the presenting business and account updates to the company management and their clients
- Monitoring the budget of the client, explaining costs and discussing new terms if necessary
- Following up clients to ensure they are satisfied with Mer's products and services

- Previous experience in developing business relationships within both the public and private sector
- Excellent verbal, written, analytical and organisational skills
- Commercially astute
- Multitasking skills
- Proven track record in exceeding growth targets
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, in person and virtually
- Can-do attitude
- Self-motivated
Desirable skills and experience
- Minimum 3 years experience in an account management role
- EV Charging knowledge
- An affinity with new technology
- In-depth understanding of performance metrics
- The ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment
