About The Role
Astute's Renewables team is partnering exclusively with an innovative company in the decarbonisation space and specifically, a green hydrogen developer. They're looking for a highly commercially aware Sales Manager to join them with the aim of assisting more clients with companies to help decarbonise their power, heat and some mobility too.
This Hydrogen Sales Manager will come with a salary banding of circa £60,000 - £70,000 and I'm keen to hear from interested parties who would also be slightly below or above this bracket.

Responsibilities And Duties
Reporting to the Head of Function you will:
- Have an ultimate aim of generating and closing hydrogen sales to the market
- Research, identify, approach and close new business
- Stay close to the market, researching new business opportunities, looking at growth areas and trends, or looking at new ways to approach the market to obtain better results
- Work hard to develop sales strategies and assess different commercial models to ensure the best possible return from your efforts
- Assessing both the merchant and mobility markets to the convert leads and close deals
- Representing the client at industry events, at webinars and conferences and reporting your findings back to the team, generating commercial opportunity as a result
- Assisting other areas of the team, where appropriate, to reach the company's goals
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Selling experience into the hydrogen or industrial gases market
- Ideally, a degree in energy, engineering or something related to sustainability
- A proven track record in devising, implementing and executing agile sales strategies
- Tender process experience is preferred
