Job Description
Join our team of Wind Turbine Technician’s and help us in maintaining the UK’s network of onshore microgeneration wind turbines. Together with your fellow technicians you’ll be responsible for performing proactive and reactive maintenance including retrofits, major component exchanges, new commissions and emergency breakdowns.
Key Tasks
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on wind turbines.
- Fault finding, troubleshooting and repair.
- Install and commission new turbines.
- Report all work conducted accurately and in suitable time: observations, timesheets, repair & service sheets.
- Perform all work with a high level of quality, attention to detail and a focus on HSE.
- Stock take, be responsible for materials on site and keeping vehicle stocked and well equipped.
- Good timekeeping.
- Good customer communication and on-site housekeeping.

Job Requirements
- Full UK driving license.
- Category C lorry license would be desirable.
- A background in engineering or agriculture would be desirable.
- Willing to travel and spend time away from home as and when required.
- Predominantly hydraulicly lowered turbines but some climbing may be required – training will be provided.
Schedule/Location:
- Based out of our Aberdeenshire depot; with accommodation available, covering maintenance and installations across the UK.
- Normal working hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am – 5.30pm.
- Overtime and weekend work available.

Rate of pay: 34,000 - 41,000 - Dependant on experience.
