We are looking for a Sustainability Analyst to join our fast growing business. We are a purpose driven organisation and have ambitious non-financial goals around our people, planet and communities. The perfect candidate for this role will deliver on these commitments that we have made to our planet, and ensure that we are leaving no trace when it comes to the environment.

We are looking for somebody who is very comfortable gathering, organising, analysing and visualising data. You might be just starting out or looking for a bit of a career change.

Responsibilities For The Role

  • Calculate the carbon footprint of the business on a quarterly basis
  • Presenting data and insights to drive the organisation towards achieving its net zero science based targets
  • Support the companys carbon removal strategy
  • Keep up to date on the latest low-carbon or zero-carbon technologies and practises
  • Provide wider support across all areas of our ESG work
  • Complete environmental disclosures such as CDP
  • Work closely with in our commercial and our procurement team to ensure that our supply chain is aligned with our environmental targets
  • MI and reporting on commercial and procurement processes to drive efficiency and continuous improvement into our supply chain engagements
  • Contributing narrative to bids questions raised around sustainability
  • Support on supplier assurance questionnaires
  • Manage modern slavery disclosure, /statements and policy requirements in terms of identifying and mitigating these risks in our supply chain

About You

Experience and skills:

  • An understanding of carbon reporting and reduction
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly in spreadsheets and data analysis
  • Proactive and pragmatic approach to solving problems
  • The ability to manage projects independently
  • Naturally curious, self starting and enthusiastic
  • Creative thinker, able to challenge established ways of doing things with a continuous improvement attitude
