Maintenance Technician

Job title: Maintenance TechnicianSalary: up to £41,000 plus 35% shift allowance (OTE £55,350)Location: Newton AycliffeType: PermanentImperial Professionals are working with one of our key manufacturing clients based in Newton Aycliffe, after a recent £18 million investment and exciting future projects they are looking to expand their current workforce.Duties:Install, maintain and carry out repairs to machinery across the plantEnsure the repair and appropriate maintenance of manufacturing machinery and ensure it is carried out within reasonable timescales which will minimise disruption to the efficiencies of the manufacturing targets.Fault find and repair any Mechanical or Electrical problems across productionPlan workload and provide handovers for next shiftsLiaise with Engineering Manager regarding requirements for spare partsContinuous improvement on site equipmentEnsure H&S policies are adhered toCarry out preventative maintenance of manufacturing machinery to ensure that company production requirements are met.Ensure all duties are carried out within the scope of the Health and Safety at Work Act and also Company rules and procedures.Carry out any other relevant duties as required by the business.Requirements:Relevant Engineering QualificationsMin of 2 years manufacturing / production experiencePLC fault finding experienceMultiskilledRobotics and automation - desirableFor more information about this great opportunity please contact Dan Pilkington at Imperial Recruitment Group
