Essential requirements:
A PhD in power systems, or a comparable degree, or, in the absence of a postgraduate degree, at least five years of relevant work experience
Proven track record in composing grant applications for research and innovation financing programmes, including Horizon Europe, Innovate UK, Strategic Innovation Fund, and Network Innovation Allowance
Proven track of drafting BAU project proposals for both domestic and international clients
Proven track record of managing a group of specialists to accomplish project milestones and composing project reports.
Proven ability to model and analyse networks using any commercial software programme, including PSCAD, DIgSILENT Powerfactory, IPSA, and others.
An understanding of the distribution and transmission networks in Great Britain.
Proficient communication abilities both in writing and speaking.
A well-rounded person who can operate both alone and collaboratively.
Desirable requirements:
Proficient in Python programming with pertinent experience in integration and continuous development
Knowledge of creating and implementing web applications on Azure platforms.
Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Git version control systems.
A proclivity towards commercial awareness and proactive pursuit of novel business prospects.
