The Service department is responsible for service and maintenance of the wind farms within UK and Ireland. The department has an open and informal culture, where teamwork and good communication is the key to our growth. You will have the opportunity to work in an exciting industry and in a team of highly motivated employees.

Reporting to the SOV Manager, you will join our Triton Knoll Service team 30km of the North Lincolnshire coast. Your role will involve working as part of a focused team, keeping our wind farm in production through proactive fault finding and efficient service activities. Working to deliver a high standard of quality and safety

Responsibilities

Responsibilities Required in line with Vestas' quality, HSE and Operational procedures. You will work a 2 week on / 2 week off rota, operating on a Service Operations Vessel, your typical tasks would be as follows:

  • Compliance to Vestas' Health & safety, Quality, Operational procedures
  • Maintenance & service of electrical and mechanical systems offshore
  • Application of the Vestas safe system of work, handling safety
  • Achieve Authorised Technician within 12 months
  • Inspection & upgrading activities
  • Trouble shooting & fault diagnosis of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Daily monitoring of operations, and remote fault finding via online systems

Qualifications

  • Electrical/Mechanical/Marine Engineering - NVQ L3 / HNC / HND / Degree / C&G technical
  • Good English skills both oral and in written
  • Full driver's license
  • IT skills (preferred: SAP, Dynamics, Oracle, Word, Excel, Outlook)
