Overview of role:

We connect businesses, enabling synergies and innovative ways to grow both revenue and asset value, while simultaneously generating data that enables a richer, more insightful view of the customer. This understanding of customers’ needs and behaviours is enabling us to develop ever more sophisticated technologies to make drivers’ lives easier and bring efficiencies and growth to our clients’ businesses.
At the heart of business change is data and representation of data drives growth. Your role would be to capture and visualise requirements that our teams need to understand better the ebb and flow of departmental system data. Knowing data is crucial, loving it is better.

Main duties and responsibilities:
- Be a part of the data management team within the company.
- Actively work in a greenfield capacity to develop new reports and data insights
- Helping support and maintain data delivery.
- Work with the team to build and achieve the common shared goal.
- Look for ways to improve your skills and knowledge.
- Apply your skills and inquisitiveness to help produce and source new insights and dimensions of data.
- The ability to estimate and deliver according to committed delivery dates.
Candidates will be effective at:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, participating in workshops to help gather requirements, and producing technical documentation.
- Keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- “Can do” attitude and strong focus on hitting objectives and deliverables.
- Flexible work attitude.
- An enthusiasm for getting the job done without compromising accuracy or quality.
- Able to work in a closely-knit team both office-based and remote, whilst also being self-motivated and able to use your own initiative.
- Show initiative when presented with problems and quick to apply common sense to assist in the resolution of the challenge.
Experience/knowledge/skills:
- Data modelling: in particular relational and object orientated modelling.
- Data analysis: both quantitative and qualitative.
- Microsoft SQL Server.
- Microsoft Power BI: Building with DAX, maintaining existing report suites.
Desirable Skills
- Data exploration experiences. Mine data and depict trends, behaviour and project.
- Alternative reporting platforms like Tableau or Sisense etc.
- AI/ML (Machine Learning) skills and experiences.
- Web development (e.g. .NET, Python, NodeJS or similar).
- Transact SQL.
