As a growing, forward-thinking organisation they have a need for an ambitious leader to take on the exciting challenge of growing our Building Performance Engineering team comprising highly skilled energy modellers (predominantly IES, SAP and TAS) who deliver their compliance and operational energy assessments and build their embodied carbon and lifecycle carbon assessing and advisory capability under the guidance of their highly experienced and energetic Chief Technical Officer.

- To manage the delivery of high-quality building energy consumption and embodied carbon advice and support across all stages of the design development process.
- To contribute to resource management and planning.
- To contribute to business development activity.

- To support the board of directors with the growth and technical development of the business.
- To support your direct reports and peer group through collaboration and knowledge sharing.

- Demonstrable experience within a similar or relevant working environment at a management level.
- An understanding of the commercial and technical management of service delivery.
- Demonstrable people and communication skills.
- An understanding of current and emerging market trends.
- Degree level academic qualifications or equivalent.
- Chartership status with the Engineering Council or equivalent.
- A genuine passion for the built environment and progress toward Net Zero Carbon..
- Full membership of a relevant professional institution.
