Job Opportunity: Sustainability Lead Location: London Salary: Up to £140,000 Our client, a prominent leader in the architectural and engineering consulting sector, is seeking a talented Sustainability Lead to join their dynamic team in London. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and implementation of sustainability strategies across projects, ensuring alignment with industry standards and client objectives. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to integrate sustainable design principles into all phases of project delivery. Conduct sustainability assessments, including energy modelling, life cycle analysis, and carbon footprint assessments. Provide expert guidance on sustainable building materials, technologies, and green certifications. Act as a thought leader within the organisation, staying abreast of emerging trends and best practices in sustainable design and construction. Requirements: Extensive experience in sustainability consulting within the built environment, preferably within a recognised consultancy or architectural firm. Strong knowledge of sustainable design principles, green building standards (e.g., LEED, BREEAM), and relevant regulations. Demonstrated expertise in conducting energy modelling and environmental analysis using software such as IES VE, EnergyPlus, or similar. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex sustainability concepts to diverse audiences. Proven track record of leading sustainability initiatives and driving positive outcomes in large-scale projects.
