The client recognises that the global energy order is changing & strives to be at the forefront of that change. As such, they are currently seeking highly skilled & motivated Renewable Energy Consultants, with a Chemical/Mechanical Engineering background, to join their dedicated team in advancing renewable gas as a core component of a net-zero carbon future. The role involves developing, designing, and optimising hydrogen/bioenergy production, storage, distribution, and end-use systems.
Key Responsibilities
Pioneer cutting-edge mechanical solutions to optimise the efficiency and performance of energy conversion systems, including thermal power plants, renewable energy facilities, and waste-to-energy projects.
Conduct comprehensive process simulations & modelling to assess the efficiency, feasibility, & safety of various renewable gas system components.
Design and conduct experiments to validate process performance, troubleshoot operational challenges, and refine process parameters.
Leverage your deep understanding of gasification, pyrolysis, combustion, and other advanced energy conversion technologies to drive innovative solutions, optimise processes, and unlock sustainable energy opportunities.
Your Profile
Strong educational background in engineering, ideally with a Bachelor's degree or higher in Process, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant field.
In-depth understanding of a specific area within renewable gas as an energy carrier, such as hydrogen mobility, syngas production & utilisation, or Carbon Capture & Storage.
Expertise in process simulation and design software, including Aspen Plus, HYSYS, and AutoCAD, along with proficiency in other relevant engineering software programs.
Possess a strong working knowledge of industry regulations, safety protocols, and environmental best practices specific to hydrogen systems.
