About the company -
Our client is a company specializing in hydrogen energy solutions. They focus on producing and distributing green hydrogen, which is hydrogen produced using renewable energy sources like wind or solar power.
They aim to promote the adoption of hydrogen as a clean energy alternative, particularly in sectors such as transportation, industry, and heating. They provide hydrogen production, storage, and distribution infrastructure to support the growing demand for sustainable energy solutions.
About the role -
The role will be a combination of Project Management within Hydrogen Production and Business Development activities.
You will be responsible for structurally setting up projects, running virtual teams, creating costings and tracking the project life cycle through to taking the project to FID (Final Investment Decision) ultimately, you will be involved in a whole new landscape of Net Zero projects within the UK.
Responsibilities -
- Work on the current project load and drive the existing projects forward
- Support, implement and onboard new projects
- Structure and develop hydrogen projects within the UK
- Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Working with subject matter experts to de-risk projects and prepare them for investment decisions
Requirements -
- Ideally a Master's degree or equivalent within Engineering, Finance or Business
- A strong leader with great knowledge and experience in the project management space
- 3-5 years of experience in Business Development
- Exposure to working with large complex and highly regulated projects within industries such as Oil and Gas, Power Generation, Hydrogren, Mechanical and Electrical etc
- Great understanding of the Renewables industry and Hydrogen
- French speaking would be beneficial however only preferred
Benefits and Package -
- Salary circa £80,000-£100,000 DOE, Negotiable
- 12 Month contract with scope to extend after (Inside IR35)
- Office-based role in the early stage of building the team (office located near Victoria Station in London)
