We are looking for a Native Application Developer to join our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining native applications for mobile operating systems like iOS and Android. You will play a crucial role in creating seamless and intuitive experiences for our users, contributing to our mission of transforming home energy management. Responsibilities Native Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain native applications for iOS and Android platforms using languages such as Flutter, Swift, Objective-C, Java, or Kotlin. User Interface (UI) Design: Collaborate with designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that enhance user engagement and satisfaction. Integration with Backend Services: Integrate native applications with backend services and APIs to enable seamless data exchange and functionality. Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing of native applications to identify and fix bugs, ensuring high quality, reliability, and performance. Performance Optimisation: Optimise native applications for speed, efficiency, and resource usage to provide a smooth user experience. Understanding of Mobile App Life Cycle: Familiarity with the life cycle of a mobile app from initial design and development, through testing, deployment, and updating. Requirements Experience: Proven experience in native mobile application development for iOS and/or Android platforms. Technical Skills: Proficiency in platform-specific languages such as Flutter, Swift, Objective-C, Java, or Kotlin. Design Principles: Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and experience implementing user-friendly interfaces. Quality Assurance: Experience with backend integration, testing, debugging, and performance optimisation of mobile applications. Deployment: Knowledge of app store deployment processes and adherence to guidelines and requirements. Benefits 33 days holiday (incl. bank holidays)
