Maintenance Technician
Clear Sky Recruitment is pleased to be recruiting on behalf of an established international manufacturing organisation based in the Blackwood area of south Wales. As a result of their continued success, we are seeking to recruit experienced Maintenance Technicians at their world-class modern manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:

- Responding to minor breakdowns
- Preventative maintenance
- Major breakdowns
- To achieve compliance with all Health, Safety and Environmental requirements, Food Safety requirements, Legislative requirements,
- GMP and company policies and procedures.
- Preparation of sub-assembly
- Other tasks as reasonably requested by the Manager
- A formal qualification in appropriate subject ONC/HNC, BTEC/City and Guilds in a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Discipline/apprenticeship
- Knowledge of high speed and/or food processing production
- Machine setting
- Fault finding and problem solving
- Plc, pneumatics, robotics (desirable)
- Adaptable and able to connect with others
- Team orientated/ collaborative
- Able to operate & take decisions independently/ enjoys autonomy
- Flexibility
