Education Requirements
- Master's degree in process engineering or a related field.
- Professional registration is a plus, but not a precondition
Experience Requirements
- We are looking for someone with more than a decade of practical experience in developing and designing process plants
- Experience with green hydrogen modelling essential
- Practical expertise in hydrogen and ammonia plant design and/or operation.
- Strong understanding of techno-economic considerations.
- You are required to have experience in Chemical engineering and you should possess specialised expertise in the functioning of chemical production facilities
Responsibilities
- Lead conceptual design and simulation of diverse process plants
- Evaluate process solutions for techno-economic viability, safety, and reliability
- Collaborate with system modelling team to optimize plant configuration
- Proactively engage with technology providers to stay informed about market trends
- Oversee documentation review and provide support to the Technical Director
- Supervise the Owners Engineering team for seamless project execution
- Collaborate with the environmental team and communicate with stakeholders
- Involve in permit applications
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports
- Contribute to risk mitigation strategies
- Compile key project feasibility reporting deliverables that significantly impact project success and viability
Skills
- Proffient in Aspen+
- Experience in process engineering simulations
- Indepth experience reviewing techeconomic viability
- Embedded understanding of chlor-alkali electrolysers
