HV Project Manager

Job Title: Project Manager - projects including Distribution, OHL, 33kV. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager to oversee a significant project for our esteemed client in Bathgate, Scotland. This project involves the distribution of overhead lines (OHL) at 33kV and loop services, with a focus on upgrading energy supply for EV chargers in domestic settings, including streetworks. Energy, low voltage (LV), power, and OHL experience are all highly valued for this role. Job Description: As a Project Manager for our Bathgate project, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of distribution OHL 33kV projects, including loop services and EV charger upgrades. Working closely with our client and internal project teams, you will ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading the planning and execution of distribution OHL 33kV projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinating with internal stakeholders, subcontractors, and suppliers to procure necessary resources and materials for project execution.
• Managing project risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Overseeing site activities, including streetworks and installation of EV chargers, to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Serving as the primary point of contact for the client, providing regular project updates and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
• Monitoring project progress and performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions as needed. Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in project management, with a focus on energy, low voltage (LV), power, or overhead line (OHL) projects.
• Strong knowledge of distribution OHL 33kV systems and loop services, including streetworks and EV charger installations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate project teams.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
