Our client is a global provider of power and thermal management solutions. They are looking for an ambitious Field Application Engineer to be based in London. The Field Application Engineer will support on applications with Energy storage systems and power conditioning systems in commercial, industrial and Electric Vehicle charging applications.
The Field Application Engineer will support the Energy Infrastructure team and help support growth in Europe. This is an amazing role where you will have the opportunity to work in an international environment working alongside an passionate team in London.
What your responsibilities will be as the Field Application Engineer?
Delivering technical support to the sales and product marketing in a timely manner.
Supporting the proposal preparation process
Hold planning, installation, and service trainings.
Contribute to identifying new market opportunities
Occasionally on-site technical support at the customer site for complex technical challenges
Support relationship management and service delivery to business customers in Europe
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of our company's product lines
Who you are and what you will bring?
Ideally a Bachelors/master's degree in electrical engineering
3-5 years of experience with battery storage systems or power conditioning systems
Fluent in English (spoken and written) is essential
Excellent technical knowledge related to integration of different
Self-management of daily tasks with the ability to work independently as well as part of an international team.
Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
Excellent customer focus, effective communication, and interpersonal skills
Installation experience/certificate to work in low voltage grid
Flexibility to travel (around 40-50% of the time)
Valid UK driver's license
