Maintenance Engineer/Technician/Handyman, £35K + potential £10K in Overtime, C. London

Seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer/Technician to join historic building in central London. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, providing a comfortable and productive environment for our staff, members, and guests.
About The Role
In this varied and hands-on role, you'll be responsible for a wide range of maintenance tasks, ensuring our building and facilities are in top condition for staff, members, and guests.
Conduct repairs and installations for joinery (doors, windows etc.)
Respond to emergency maintenance calls and carry out first-line repairs for equipment
Monitor and maintain the Building Management System (BMS)
Liaise with external contractors and ensure their work is completed to a high standard
Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues across different departments
You'll Be a Great Fit If You Have
An extensive background as a Maintenance Engineer/Technician, or similar role
Significant experience in joinery installation and repairs within a commercial building environment
Experience with building maintenance and decoration duties
A strong understanding of health and safety regulations
A proactive and problem-solving approach
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Benefits
