At Eni, we are looking for a Trading Analyst within the ETB Products Trading team in London. You will support traders and managers by reporting research and calculations. You will also work on any “ad hoc” requests assigned by the team /line manager.

ETB is present in the UK, in Italy, in Singapore and through a subsidiary, in Houston - USA.


As a member of the trading Products department at ETB, you will be responsible for:


  • Market data analysis to help traders develop and execute trades.
  • Accurate exposure position and P&L reports;
  • Ensuring physical transactions are booked accurately
  • Ensuring a correct booking of derivatives transactions
  • Setting up, maintaining and improving a cargo tracking system (vessels b/l, destination, WS rate.)
  • Dealing with Middle Office for P&L, exposure and pricing reconciliation;
  • Preparing various reports, and research projects, such as market analysis (supply and demand, global crack spreads, margins); weekly internal presentation of P&L, physical and paper activity; daily update of excel sheet, reflecting market structure and movements; Arb and Crack calculations; track refinery turnarounds and shipping Cargoes Tracking


This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements:


  • University Degree in Quantitative Studies (Engineering, Math, Statistics, Physics or IT) or Economics/Finance.
  • Proof of relevant experience in the trading business
  • Proof of relevant experience with some of the Oil Products - LPG, Naphtha, Gasoline, Middle Distillates, Fuel Oil or Specialties.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel/VBA. Knowledge of SQL and Python is a plus.
  • Ability to develop skills such as strategic thinking, decisiveness and risk awareness
  • Flexibility to operate in challenging and ever changing environment.
  • Well organised and good attention to detail.
