About The Team

As the Assets Planning and Control Manager for UK, Ireland and Israel, you will be ideally based Worcester or Cardiff, UK.

You will report to the Technical Manager for UK, Ireland, Italy, Israel and Norway (UKI3N). You will lead the team of 12 to 15 and this team will oversee the operational performance of CryoEase and Liquid Bulk workshops to drive EBITDA margin improvement and excellent customer services through effective assets deployment.

As the Assets Planning and Control Manager, you will

  • Lead the high-performing teams who plan and control the throughput of the workshops in Worcester and Cardiff (both UK) and Israel -> refurbishment schedules; responsibility for the Liquid Bulk, CryoEase and other equipment; meeting KPIs; shipping arrangements for the equipment to be refurbished; maintaining stock).
  • Act as a technical lead on key assets data (including Certificate of Conformity and Revalidation Certificates; records), work closely with commercial teams, planners and the wider Engineering group to ensure the optimal assets utilization for all planned projects.
  • Own of new equipment purchases -> orders from suppliers, allocating equipment; reviews of costing sheets, tank condition reports and stores items; control inventory levels vs. reused, scrapping solutions.
  • Work with other leaders to support, identify and develop productivity programs.

As the Assets Planning and Control Manager, you already are or have

  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing teams, with the ability to demonstrate engagement, performance and improvement in a team managed remotely.
  • Strong understanding of cryogenic liquid storage tanks, with the capability to learn the distribution activities that can influence asset optimization.
  • Highly organized, numerate, and accurate, with strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Able to work across the business, forming good working relationships at all levels, leading and influencing cross functional teams, particularly able to drive collaboration across sales, customer service and operational areas that optimize the balance between service and cost.
  • Clear communicator, able to translate analysis into meaningful and executable programmes and actions.
  • Clear understanding of financial analysis, ensuring that there are clear strategies for translating improvement actions into real and sustainable EBITDA margin improvements.
  • Practical understanding and application of Lean Six Sigma principles, most likely a qualified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt but not essential.
  • Flexible traveling to sites and abroad.
  • HND or Degree in Engineering Discipline.
