We are looking to welcome a Product Quality & Recovery Co-Worker to join our amazing Recovery Team in Cardiff where it is a Wonderful Workday.
Your remit will be to contribute to the product quality, safety and recovery processes in the store. Sustainability & a passion for re-selling IKEA products are key to what you want to achieve day to day.
Expected Starting Date: 13th July 2024

• 20 hours weekly, working 4 days over 7 and 3 out of 4 weekends.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
• Business-minded and result-driven with a customer focus.
• Experience of working in a customer- and commercial-oriented business.
• Open to change and a high level of flexibility. High ambition to work in a team.
• Ability to take personal initiatives.
• Ability to prioritise and organise personal work duties to make the most efficient use of time available.
• Creative with attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of the IKEA product range.
• Good ability to use power tools and craftmanship in product assembly.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
• Take necessary action on products to give them a second chance, through As-Is Selling, Repackaging or spare parts management.
• Present and Sell IKEA products in As-Is using a strong commercial expression, selling these products with pride, and setting relevant prices that are attractive to customers yet still generate the best results for the business.
• Always consider the sustainability impact when deciding when and how to recover products.
• Represent and be an ambassador for product recovery, quality, and safety awareness in the unit.
• Work closely with the different functions in the unit to ensure that common working routines and
• processes are followed related to product quality, safety and recovery.
• Support and execute the product quality and safety related tasks in the unit to constantly improve customers’ product quality perception of our IKEA products.
