IKEA Cardiff have a fantastic opportunity for a Loyalty Specialist on a 24 hours weekly, permanent contract. This is an exciting opportunity, and you'll be joining a great team!
You will be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, focusing on maintaining and enhancing IKEA brand's relationship with our customers. Attract more visitors to the IKEA meeting point, create moments for a fun day out, convert visitors into customers and take the lead in our Loyalty program, including community collaborations such as such as approaching the neighbourhood for events & charity donations.

WHO YOU ARE
You are passionate about delivering the IKEA experience through multiple channels to create value for the many people and inspire a home furnishing movement. You will be a spokesperson for loyalty within the store and be committed to promoting and driving the local plan to recruit, retain and activate IKEA FAMILY Members. To do this, you will use your solid understanding of customer clubs and loyalty programmes, and your existing knowledge of the IKEA Concept and Brand.
You will have:
• At least one years experience working in IKEA
• Experience of working within the commercial function.
• Knowledge of customer loyalty clubs and programmes.
• Experience of setting and implementing action plans, setting budgets and following up on goals.
• A self-reliant mindset with a proven ability to work as part of a team as well as independently with the ability to communicate confidently and clearly & able to influence peers & management team to make a difference in positively influencing the business result.
• The ability to gain insights in customer needs through observing and performing data analysis and converting it to viable customer engagement opportunities.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING DAY-TO-DAY
• As the Store Loyalty Specialist, your role will focus on being the spokesperson for loyalty within the store. You will promote and drive the local plan to recruit, retain, and activate IKEA FAMILY members, with the ultimate goal of building strong, long-term relationships with the many people.
• Working together with the Store Commercial Activity Manager you will ensure IKEA FAMILY and IKEA Business networks are integrated into the local commercial calendar. You will take actions to improve co-worker knowledge and competence in the IKEA FAMILY programme, so they understand the impact loyalty programme membership has on long-term growth in an omnichannel environment.
• You will collaborate with key store stakeholders to ensure we drive recruitment and activation of IKEA FAMILY members to join, and existing members to visit more often. Be responsible for collating and sharing loyalty data and KPIs within the Store Commercial Teams and key stakeholders across the store to enable the store to act on locally relevant loyalty opportunities. Contribute to the People Planet Positive agenda by engaging with IKEA FAMILY members about sustainability through events.
• You will be responsible for planning, coordinating and promoting customer events in the store through IKEA FAMILY to drive visitation, customer and loyalty engagement. Ensure retail foundation is in place for IKEA FAMILY, including store thread, visibility of benefits, pricing, stock locations and accurate forecasting; working closely with the store Commercial Team to make it happen. You will be responsible for keeping local communication channels up to date to meet the needs of the customers.
• Be responsible for allocating and coordinating local community budget to support unit neighbourhood engagement plans, including local PR, local causes and annual Live Lagom initiatives.
